Psychology Resource Room
Psychology Lab is a integral part of Faculty of Psychology Lab Psychology Lab is a integral part of Faculty of Education. Psychology Lab has all equipment’s and apparatus required for B.Ed Programme. Psychology Lab of the college will be upgraded time by time and equipments and apparatus will be purchased when needed. The psychology laboratories are purpose built rooms that allow psychology students to collect data from human participants using the same resources as professional psychologists.
Students can carry out cognitive and psycho-physiological investigations using a sophisticated eye tracker to trace eye positions on a computer screen or the Biopac programme to measure the participant’s physiological reactions such as heart rate and skin conductivity.
Collecting a wide range of data using these resources gives students the opportunity to enhance their psychological methods and analysis as well as experience complex psychological research.
Social Science Pedagogy Resource room
Social Science Resource Room used by students who are taking classes at the campus and as a reference library for classroom teachers. The goal is to provide the quality instructional materials that will foster the development of social science skills, including history, geography, economics and political science.Resource Room is to enhance the reputation of our college as an educational leader in the social science field. Currently, the facility focuses on materials and activities for Secondary level pre service teacher’s school teachers with professional support. All resource materials are aligned to the Social Science Standards and are housed in a library type format.
Mathematics Pedagogy Resource room
The major challenge of teaching pedagogy of mathematics is to prepare prospective teachers to teach in a way in which they have not taught. To overcome this challenge, we have set up the mathematics pedagogy resource room with the objective of catering to the needs of prospective teachers. The materials available in the resource room are specially designed to provide insight to the prospective teachers to design self-devised innovative activities, worksheets, projects, and teaching-learning materials. With the available materials, the prospective teachers are not only provoked to think innovatively but also encouraged to share their ideas to concretize the abstract concepts of mathematics. The materials available are provided to the prospective teachers during their internship.
Biological Science Pedagogy Resource room
A well equipped resource room of a pedagogy empowers both teacher educators and prospective teachers. The resource room for Pedagogy of Biological Science is designed to provide realistic experience to the prospective teachers in their journey of B.Ed training programme. The Biological Science pedagogy resource room aids in achieving the objective of facilitating in making resourceful and competent Biology teachers. The resource room provides the resources to the prospective teachers to plan and design their lessons and execute them effectively. The resources available are teaching learning charts, models, specimens, instruments and equipment which enables the prospective teachers to think creatively and plan their lessons with novelty during their school internship.
Physical Science Pedagogy Resource room
Physical science laboratory is a research and development laboratory that provides a range of services including consulting, design, fabrication, and calibration services in scientific instrumentation. … PSL will help to solve your unique research, development, or prototype needs. Partnering with PSL means partnering with experience. In connection to this view our college had a well-equipped physical science laboratory which includes instruments, operators and innovative improvised models and equipment’s related to both physics and chemistry concepts and theories which are belongs to primary high school and pre university level curriculum. Our prospective teachers are using this PSL for conducting experiments for their experience and also used the lab materials in front of the primary and high school students during their practice teaching period.
English Pedagogy Resource room
English resource room is a well-equipped separate room to train student teachers in linguistics. Language resource room is a dedicated space for foreign language learning where students access audio or audio-visual materials.They allow a teacher to listen to and manage student audio, which is delivered to individual students through headsets or in isolated ‘sound booths. In Lingua Phone Laboratory, learners are given a headset to listen to the audiocassettes being played. Here distractions are minimized and a certain amount of clarity in listening is possible. The lingua phone laboratory facilities each student to sit in a room with earphones and listen to taped material on pronunciation, stress andintonation in conversations and dialogues. This helps the student teachers to develop their Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing skills comfortably. We have 12 lingua phone kit at our English resource room. Each kit has 10 level books of manuals which help the student teachers to develop their listening, speaking, Reading and Writing skills. In the language room the students are trained to learn in a specific room by gaining proficiency regarding the learning of a new language with the active assistance of hardware and software technologies adopting both auto-instructional and classroom training. During internship, the student teachers utilise this room for preparing their teaching learning materials. In-service teachers also make use of this room for better understanding of linguistics and become proficient in the LSRW skills.
Kannada Pedagogy Resource room
ವಿಜಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ಸುಸಜ್ಜಿತಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಷಯಾಧಾರಿತ ಬೋಧನಾಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಕೊಠಡಿಯನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಶಿಕ್ಷಣಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಷಾ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳಾದ ಆಲಿಸುವಿಕೆ, ಮಾತುಗಾರಿಕೆ, ಓದುಗಾರಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಬರವಣಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಅತೀ ಅವಶ್ಯಕವಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಭಾಷಾ ಪ್ರಶಿಕ್ಷಣಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಜ್ಞಾನ, ಕೌಶಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆಡವಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಾದ ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಒಂದು ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಹತ್ತರಿಂದ ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭಾಷಾ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಕೊಠಡಿಯನ್ನು ಸದುಪಯೋಗಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅವಕಾಶವಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಶಿಕ್ಷಣಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಭಾಷಾ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಕೊಠಡಿಯ ಪೀಠೋಪಕರಣದ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅವಕಾಶವಿದೆ. ವರ್ಣಮಾಲೆಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿ ವಾಕ್ಯರಚನೆಯವರೆಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪದಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಬಂಧರಚನೆಯವರೆಗೂಕಲಿಯಲು ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಿಸಲು ಉಪಯುಕ್ತವಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಕರಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ಭಾಷಾ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಕೊಠಡಿ ಇದಾಗಿದೆ. ಭಾವಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾಗಲು ಸಮಂಜಸವಾದ ಭಾಷಾ ಉಚ್ಚರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂವಹನ ಕೌಶಲಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷಾ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಕೊಠಡಿಯನ್ನು ವಿನ್ಯಾಸಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಭಾಷಾ ಕೌಶಲಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಪೂರಕವಾದ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವನ್ನುಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೌಶಲಗಳ ಕರಗತಕ್ಕೆಅವಶ್ಯಕವಾದ ಧ್ವನಿ ಸುರುಳಿ ಕ್ಯಾಸೆಟ್ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂದ್ರಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಭಾಷಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕನಾಗಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಾದ ವಿವಿಧ ಬೋಧನೋಪಕರಣಗಳ ಮಾದರಿ ಮತ್ತುಅದರ ತಯಾರಿಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಸಹ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಶಿಕ್ಷಣಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಇದರ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಉಪಯೋಗ ಪಡೆದು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಭಾಷಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾಗಲು ಇದೊಂದು ಉತ್ತಮ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
Commerce Pedagogy Resource room
The slogan of the new NEP “not just learning, doing!” can only be achieved when our students utilising their knowledge in their profession.
The commerce curriculum at the school level will deepen the knowledge of the student in business related subject, also promote the entrepreneurial mind-set among the students at the secondary and Higher secondary level which makes a student to be a job giver rather than job seeker.
Also the scope extends as auditor, accountants, analyst, business consultant, stock market analyst, financial and marketing analyst. The Globalisation play an important role in the expansion of various sectors such as banking, insurance, transportation, logistics etc., thus the subject of commerce has now received wide recognition and acceptability therefore it has become essential that profession of commerce teacher is taken up very seriously.
Our college recognise the importance of commerce education in today’s world and is focused on bringing up the student teachers specialised in Pedagogy of Commerce . An exclusive resource room are available with the TLM consisting of teaching learning charts, models, magazines and articles of commerce, economics and education. Our Prospective teachers are utilising these resource room in a skillful manner to bring up unique models and charts during their internship that enhances their teaching in an effective way.
